ON IIS, web service can be installed on port 80 by default. In this document, Xpoda Service is installed via 8085 port. You can change the ports according to your needs and install on a port of your choice.
For the client, SSL is required for security reasons. Non-SSL installations may be considered risky in terms of security. Therefore, we definitely do not recommend using it without SSL. The use of SSL has become a standard requirement in web applications all over the world.
